How many more big teams will get knocked out? If all goes well, Argentina and Italy will go, and we seem to beat the Germans each time, so we'd be up against all the underdogs.

I dont think the argies are a dirty team more of a team that uses sly tactics to get things their own way, some examples are diving, trying to wound other players up, scoring with their hands and getting away with it! etc.

I have to say (after just watching the highlights) Germany were very very lucky to beat Cameroon...

Germans were proper dirty and cameroon should have had two goals early on. I think this game set a new records for bookings in the World cup...And you call the argies dirty :P

Oh yeah, my bad. I guess it was just overshadowed by how rubbish we did overall in that tournament, the victory was sweet though.

It will be exactly the same case with tomorrow, if by some little chance we don't qualify, the Argentina result will be put completely into perspective, but until then...

Ha, ha. We beat the Argies :D. Four days have passed and I'm still over the moon about it :D.

Still...

If most of the big teams don't qualify,

The better the chance for England.

I think Brasil must be Favorites now and will probably end up winning it, if the others fail to qualify.

Holland, as IB said, were never in, as they failed to qualify.

You're saying that if Italy are out you'll be up against Germany? What about
Brazil,
Spain,
Mexico (7th in the World and with 6 points....),
Portugal (but I suppose they could get knocked out, as they have lost once) or
Denmark (who are actually pretty good right now)

And what if Italy and Argentina don't get knocked out....

Don't be so cocky yet.

Holland didn't get knocked out - they failed to qualify.

Have a look on the BBC website, and see dozens of comments from disgruntles Dutch folk complaining that their side wasn't in the World Cup, but the likes of Saudi Arabia are (were).

The only comment I've got for them is "Everyone went through the same qualifying process, Saudi qualified, you didn't. Live with it".

When we beat them 5-1, it was the first time we had beat them for a long, long time.

Everything else I agree with. Life is good at the moment. Got a cool CD in the post, weather is class, had a few drinks and France are out :D.
