Have any of you been having a flutter on the World Cup?

So far I must have won close to £200

ive also got a bet on Ireland winning 2-0 today worth £30

with Keane scoring first - looks good so far :)

I think it all adds to the excitment of a match.

Damn, that was unlucky..

£30 in your pocket

and the keeper lets in a dodgy goal to make it 3-0!

ah life.

All I've managed so far is a quid on Equador at £100-1 before the World cup started. (Yes well).

I'm better at the bets I don't lay. I backed Duval for the Masters a couple of years ago when he finished second and was going to back him again at the Open. Last minute I changed to Weir! £10 at 25-1 would have won me £250. I also missed out on Pantani in the Tour De France 66-1 EW, Holyfield against Tyson 25-1 and Tiger Woods 14-1 in the Masters where he won by 10 shots. Why? I though I'd be wasting a tenner (I never bet more than this).

The morale of the story is: if I make up my mind to bet then don't, tell someone else so they can profit.

Worse still was my mate winning £400 on the National because his girlfriend liked the name Bindaree....

Git.
