I sit and wait,
for the dark,
for the dawn,
I know not.
For I simply wait,
and find I miss my turn.
I stand in line,
for order,
for principal,
for all.
But the line still grows,
and I stand here forever.
I break out,
of the life,
of the queue,
of the dark.
I find myself free,
and finally I know life.

Thanks for the comments. It's great how people interpret poetry, isn't it?! That's why I never really agreed with poetry dissection at Uni. Still, it was quite interesting making tutors squirm with deliberately designed stuff.

With Goatboy here... it does get lonely out on the road, but just keep driving, and they'll be things there to pick you up along the way. Hitchhikers not wanting a ride, but just a little hand... little stops at cafes... and maybe you can pick up someone that was travelling the same road as you, and you can travel it together.
Whatever happens, don't give up, because it's too easy to be unhappy.

But be sure that it's what you really, really want because people you thought were ready to follow you decide to step back in line and accept the rules.
It's lonely,so be damn sure you want to step out and breathe.
What a sh###y choice to make:
Live on your terms, but risk losing someone or keep low and let things pass for the sake of companionship.
