That'll only be horizontal strips that make fat people look fatter. I'm reliably informed that vertical ones actually make you look thinner.
Stripes aren't all bad though. There's good stripes, like the one down the middle of the road that stops people having head on collisions.
As for that fella out of REM, not only can he not spell Stripe properly, he's a bald whiney get.
