I do, and i'm sure there are many others who do.
Well, help is on the way, in the form of some new pads that could be here in-time for x-mas, available for all 3 of the current next-generation consoles.
It goes by the name of the 'Nyko AirFlo', and could cost around £40 - nearly the twice the price of the average console control pad.
A built-in fan inside the controller and tiny holes around the outside help to ventilate cool air around the pads and your hands, helping you to keep your cool in those hot, gaming situations.
People from the dailly newspaper The Mirror have said that they tested it at E3 recently, and that "it really does work."
What do you think about this???
Are we finally gunna see something 'truly from the future' in this new generation of gaming - rather than just the almighty and powerfull X-box??
Will it really work that well?? And would you honestly feel happy spending £40 per pad - just so you and 3 mates could have a 'cool' match of multiplayer madness??
I think it's a great idea, but the price makes me think: :S
And it wouldn't exactly be fair if you had cool hands while your mates were they thinking they were holding a bar of soap, as you laughed on in your triumphs!
They haven't given the name of a site or link for any other pictures or news on this product, so I can't help you there unfortunately.
But if you've still got Saturady's Mirror, you'll find it in there.
Also in that same paper is news on several other new 'Pads of the Future'
-There's a 'P5 Golve' that works as a replacemnt for the PC mouse, as all you have to do is simply move your hands and fingers to ponint and click at your own free will. It's mainly aimed at replacing the mouse in games.
Problem is that you may not feel like spending £100 on it this Autumn!
-The 'Belkin Nostromo Speed Pad' is basically a keyboard and mouse all in one. And what's more, you only need one hand to use it, and it's available now in the US - working out at around £25.
-The 'Cymouse' headset makes it seem like Virtual Reallity may be starting to enter the Gaming World - very slightly. Turn your head left and the in-game character does the same. Could lead to something big in the future!
-And finally we have the 'X-Arcade' controller for all 3 consoles. It's basically like what you'd use in an arcade, with a 2 Joysticks and 8, big, bashable buttons. It's simple, but it ain't cheap!
It'll set you back around £120 this summer.
We've always been wondering about 'new ways to play', and here you have a few examples of how it all could be in the future.
