If you want to know, that I think that a PS3 will, probably be released in 2004/2005 because ever since tha PS1 was released in 1995, in 2000 the PS2 was released. I probably think that Sony is taking approx. 5 year until they release a new console (if they do).

No it won't! Sony will probably STILL force us to buy multitaps, still refuse to include a HDD or modem as standard, and then make Square (or someone else) make a killer app that NEEDS both to work thus forcing loyal gamers like us to buy it.
The PS3 could be anthing, If you remember screenshots appeared in PS1 magazines before the PS2 release and showed a streched PS1 with a blue screen then at the last minute they put together the black model as we all know and love. The sames happening with the PS2, they're screenshots of a 'PS3' that looks identical to the PS2 but with like 8 USB ports, 4 controller ports and some other daft things. The PS3 will definatly be unique and different from it's predecessors :-)

Unlike most newbies, your posts aren't totally terrible. BUT we already have a thread about the PS3... so THATs where you should post things about the PS3.

the PS3 will be black at first but turn grey as it starts to get older, it will be water proof and will be as powerful as 16 PS2s
