There's a site I've been accessing for around two years now and i've had no problems with cookies.

Then, I go and update my internet explorer to ie.6 and I get cookie problems.

I've noticed that they have changed the way you disable cookies etc in the internet tools options. Fair enough, i've sorted all that out. Even when another site told me my cookies were disabled. I configured it and that site allowed me in.

But I have done everything for this other site which just keeps telling me I have cookies disabled. I even deleted my old cookie incase it was just looking at that. Everything in the internet tools part of internet explorer is sorted and so this site should let me into my account. But it's not.

I don't think anyone else is having problems as lots of members are online etc.

grrr help.

Cool, nice one funky :-)

It works.

I just set the javascript to medium safety and now it works. Thing is, all these sites tell you how to enable cookies but never meantion that. That's stupid.

Anyway, thanks so much.

Oh yeah.

The sites that do work may use PHP or something to set the cookies, where as this one uses JavaScript.

Have you also disabled Javascript?

If the site is using Javascript detection of Cookies, and the Javascript cannot run for whatever reason, then the default response might be that "cookies are not enabled" rather than "Javascript is not enabled".

Hope that helps.

What site is this???

It may sound stupid, by maybe its a simple case of them coding their site cookies incorrectly.

Is this like a pro site???
