England... tv presenters and the lot...

I wasn't supporting England and I wasn't against them... you beat Argentina which means a lot and stuff, although it was dodgy penalty and I'm bored of watching two different games this morning and all I hear is crap about England:

" Can we win this? "

" Got a hangover? "

" About this time yesterday Beckham scored "

" A feeling of 1966 eh? "

" We got those Argies "

" If the england boys are watching this... well done "

Blah Blah Blah

Shut up now and let me enjoy other matches... Bah.

First of all, I said that it was ONE of the biggest shocks of the tournament so far - and definitley one of the biggest between Friday Night and the France-Senegal match! And yes, like Ortega said, at team outside the top 10 beating the 3rd best team world-wide isn't quite a result you would expect to see!

And although we played well and everything, many of us are now pretty sure that Owen did dive in one way or another, and since that penalty gave us the 3 points, it is seen as slightly unfair as many will call it an 'un-deserved' goal.
We desrved all our other chances. Problem was that we just couldn't out them all past the keeper and inside the frame.

Wales could beat them all. Probably.

So you beat some Diego gits. Congratulations. I'm sure the only qualification for the Argie team was to have long hair. Except that Gonzalez bloke. But he got taken off because he was crap. They were all pretty crap actually. And I worked out who Areil Ortega was, after wondering who Ortega based his name on.

He's crap too.

It was a surprising result becasue Argentina are in the top 3 in the FIFA world rankings.

Most suprising result!?! how is surprising Italy got beat by Croatia, Germany beat Saudi Arabia 8-0 and you think Englands one 1-0 win against Argentina is surprising? and slightly unfair, what was unfair about it? we where the better team we created more chances and Micheal Owen got took down the deffenders leg was out while the ball was not that there

It was just one game!!!

We haven't won the bloody tournament, we've just settled an old score and caused one of the most surprising results in the tournament so far - and slightly unfairly too!
