It's no secret that Japan and America get everything before Europe; consoles, games and peripherals. Some gamers seem to think Japan don't care about us, but do they? Well, let's look at it like this. They get almost all of the game before us, and then when we finally do get our games, bits are missing.

The main culprit seem to be Nintendo. Always pushing release dates back and back so eventually there's a brand new console out before the games we've been waiting for most get released. But they do try to make out that they care, I think they just might, maybe not as much as they should, but at least they gave it a go.

But to be honest, it was a pretty crappy update. I'm talking about Luigi's Mansion. I was getting damn excited about this 'Hidden Mansion' with it's 'Additional Extra's'. But that was until I found out what it was. A mirror version of the normal mansion. At first it was very disappointing; they didn't even flip the 'L' on Luigi's cap back around, they just mirrored the whole thing. The ghosts were tougher, so were the bosses, but I was still pretty annoyed.

It took a while, but I did get into it and completed it in the space of two days, quite disappointing, still a good game though.

Recently, the most anticipated game in my gaming life, finally got released in Europe. It was Super Smash bros. Melee, and a damn brilliant game. You may thinking I'm making a mountain out of a molehill when I say that one trophy was missing in the Europe Edition, but why? I've enjoyed the game a whole lot, but knowing that something is missing, that isn't missing in Japan, really gets to me, because I know I'll never be able to complete Melee.

Well, enough about games, now importing. Okay - this may involve games, but games in general, not specific titles that I've mentioned before. But why should us Europeans have to pay £400 for a GameCube, which is imported, but is normally around £120. It's fair that you pay for sipping costs, but surely more than double the console price is a bit over the top.

Anyway, that's enough moaning from me :-)

Thanks for reading

I wasn't blaming you, I thought that could have been the reason, since you can't call something a name which is already there (if you know what I mean).

I spelled divide with an 'e' because I was tired and I'm only 14, anyway, I didn't know you posted something called 'East-West Divide', therefor, I'm not copying :-D

I think he spelt Divide with an e because I'd already done a topic called East-West Divide a long time ago.

Shame on you! Make up your own names next time!

Well, maybe more of a Ninty room topic than a Prime one...

Shame about the title, but otherwise interesting...

The Shigeru Miyamoto gold statue one, apparently the censors thought it looked too much like a kiddy fiddler so they had to give it the chop.
