have to agree with your dad on this one. gaming fanatic as i am i think its a bit of a waste to spend almost £500 on two consoles. You should stick with the PS2 and just save the money and then buy something really good.

You could secretly buy an X-Box, and hide it from your Dad, but you'd have to have a very large cupboard, or possibly a cellar. You may have to put an extension on the cellar also...

Or do some research into games on both of the consoles. Which ones are exclusive e.t.c. Show all this research to your dad, and prove that just because you have a PS2, it doesn't mean that you can't have/don't need an Xbox.

Jebus, you're unlucky. Don't give up, he'll give in eventually {:)

Don't argue or anything, that'll just make him more stubborn. But just try to gently pursuade him. Maybe you could say there are no good games on the PS2 anymore (lies never hurt anyone) and that you need a new console.

Or maybe even direct him onto this website, and get him to talk to some of us.

Well couldn't you tell your dad that you've give the PS2 to your bro and then get the Xbox, still sharing the PS2 with your bro?

Well then if you really want an Xbox, sell your PS2 for more cash and get more stuff for the xbox.

But if you want to keep your PS2 then keep it and don't get an Xbox.

Simple.
