I normally turn mine off - where it is it is easy to get to the switch so it's no hassle.

One of your questions got me wondering? What does everyone do when switching off PS2? As in, do you leave power switch (at back) on so red light glows, or do you turn it off completely. Does anyone know if it uses alot of power in standby mode?
