please can anyone advise how to get the form to mail script to operate with the auto responder so the person filling out the form gets the auto response message. aAs it is, the message come back to me with the email address the form mails the enquiry to.

I don't believe you can do this with the standard Freeola formmail script. You can use third-party one's such as the one from Tectite.com which does allow you to use many more advanced options.

FWIW I'm not a great fan of the auto responder; I just make use of the 'thank you' page in the formmail script - you can format the page to say what you like. From "Thanks for the message" to "We'll get back to you ASAP" etc.

Just use this in your Freeola FORM code:
