Seeing as the Action Replay is coming out soon then we'd better get importing. So what games are you going to get? Where from? How much? And when do all our favourite games come out in the US and stuff, I know that Metroid Prime comes out November 18th...

Just had a look at our friends from Lik-sang...

Almost all Japanese games (in Rez Evil) are £40, and dispatch within 24hours... which means a week or 2 wait. Rez is in English btw! Anyway, when the AR thing gets nearer to being bought by me, I think that I'll look round- I know there are better places out there.

Davey, I have never, never had a faulty game ever... quality control is so high that I doubt that many have ever been created (bar actual coding errors).

Oh, and most good games places in the UK will deliver to the rest of the world within 2 day for no extra charge... I'm sure there are places abroad that do the same for us;)

Agrees with you on that point if your prepeared to wate a week or too, but the problem is what if the game is faulty do you then wait another two weeks for a replacement

Well, almost every game I buy...

You see, games in Japan and America are far cheaper... but importers generally charge massive overheads on shipping them out to you.

However, importing games and stuff for the GC actually works out CHEAPER than buying in this country. Not only that, but some Canadian sites are ridiculously cheap thanks to the week Canadian Dollar:)

Oh, and I'm off to America in summer, so I'll pick up a load of games then without having to pay overheads:)

I'll import games that take too long to reach us, Resident Evil and Final Fantasy mainly.

import games do workout cheaper, or dear depending on exchange rates.
but you get them earlier.
or you get them if there not released in this country (chronono cross) and afew nintendo games for example.
so you get the game you want

you can't burn the disc. And import games will work out at the same price, if not cheaper.

I'll get any game that comes out two months before its UK release. So probably Mario, Resident Evil, Zelda. I'll wait for the PAL metroid though.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
