Right, ive just bee looking round a few forums and found this guy who has been finding tons of things to do in GTA3 for the PC. Things like Map Modding, finding the source codes, editting cars and other stuff.
Here's some pics of what "he and his mate" have been up to.

*Map Modding - Adding a new bridge to the game.

*He thinks he has found something that seems to indicate multiplayer action
Here's what he has to say about this.
"Ok for those who dont know while looking through the codding of the GTA3 pc version we have stunbled onto what looks to be multiplayer. Just take a look at this pic"

"Multiplayer was not added as Rockstar apparently did not like how it would turn out, and wanted something more exclusive for the series. During the development of the PC port however, it seems DMA were seriously considering, and at some points even implementing, the multiplayer component of the game.
During the development of the PC port, many of my support queries were returned with aniticipation for GTA3 PC multiplayer. Based on this my guess is that they removed multiplayer more than half way through the development process, as staff seemed misinformed. Many GTA3 PC source code files indicate variables for multiplayer gameplay, and some settings even. We've written about this before, however the file "menu.gxt" from the "models" folder of GTA3 PC reveals a multiplayer "mode". When the named file is opened in a GTA3Mods' editor tool, it reveals an interesting sight. Namely it has variables for "gamespy", "multiplayer", "hostgame", "findgame" and "connection24".
Does all this mean that DMA has implemeted multiplayer to even a deeper level such as the game application itself? This we don't yet know, however if it is even partially implemeted, there's a slight hope for a multiplayer addon! Now don't get your hopes up, and I've seen a lot of bogus links to a so-called "GTA3 Multiplayer mode" hack/addon, however these obviously dont work. Let's keep our fingers crossed!"

hhmmm.

*And he also seems to be working on adding his own cars to the game.

The one from "The Fast and The Furious" looks really cool. All this stuff makes me want to get the game for the PC.
Im not really sure if all this is true though, seeing as though I dont have the gane to compare things with and whatever.

Ah well. Hope you liked that lot.
