After reading various books and stuff (LOTF included) i decided to write this:

------------------------------------------------

The Heart,
An organ of un-ending movement
or a metaphor for all that is human,
something that is an excuse for emotion
Human, heart, soul, all entwined together
But there are sides to this metaphorical being,
sides that exist together, locked in the symbiosis,
of being human

Shadows hidden in the depths,
Dark primal fear ready to break out,
The end of all that is falesly constructed,
Is hidden in it, locked away, waiting for release,
A dark, gnawing monster that kills, and harbours the human spirit,
of killing, death, and above all, darkness,
darkness that holds you when good forsakes you,
when you have left it behind, and run towards the obscure,
after some deed performed, that erupted from, your heart
Kept inside, under false exteriors, fake smiles and shadowy thoughts

Kept alongisde, all that is pure, the thought of love, life and soul,
the thing that keeps you going, the thing that bightens you,
and changes the false covers,
and blows away the fake smiles, to reveal true emotion,
of love, and sadness, compassion, kindness, and the feeling,
the feeling that you can do anything, just to be good,
to your fellow man,
and all that is pure, locked inside this, happy nad waiting,
to be released at the slightest trigger

All locked together, under one roof of your mind and soul,
waiting to reveal a side,
that changes like the wind,
veering away and around the situations,
just waiting to reveal itself, the good and the evil,
waits.

Thank you! Its really about how the heart is percieved as two things - a vital organ, and a home for emotion - And then that it either contains evil or love, as shoen by Goldings Lord OF The Flies, or Heart Of Darkness, compared to all the love songs and ideals we have about it.
