I am going to upgrade my computer in a few weks but don't know which of the 2 to get? I know the geforce 4 MX has better clock speeds but i have also heard that the geforce 4 does not have full direct x 8.1 support yet and when i read benchmarks it has come up that on 3D mark 2001 not all tests could be carried out with it but Geforce 3 TI 500 can carry them all out.
Which should i get then? please help :)
I've got a GeForce 3 in my PC, and it handles everything current games throw at it with ease.
Latest is Soldier of Fortune 2 which I'm running at 1024x768 with all options maxed and FSAA turned on, and I've had no slowdown at all.
I do have a 1.7GHz CPU though.
