No big deal there - that was announced a while ago, and was fair enough. Nothing wrong with charging for space.
But now, all of a sudden, they've decided to make you pay for the extra storage if you want to collect POP3 e-mail too. That costs £20 a year.
I use my Hotmail account to collect my home e-mail via POP3 to read it at work, but that will be stopped mid-July unless I pay. Which I won't. I've no need for more space on my Hotmail account, and I don't see why I should start paying for a couple of megs which has been free for years.
So basically, it's time for me to start looking for a new free webmail provider. Unless, of course, SR decide to add a webmail interface to their hosted accounts. (Hint, hint!)
It's not like MS actually NEED any more money, is it?
Personally I reckon they're trying to recoup losses caused by the dire Xbox sales - but that's just me... :-)
Didn't you get a pop3 account with your Domain Wookie? if not, ask one of your mates for one :D
Its a case of 'Pay us to connect to out POP Servers, or don't.'

Freeola let you log in over the web? As if.....
That'd be like asking them to let you upload with Broadband. Never gonna happen.
