Another month, another edition of the Sims.

This months addition to the series is Sim Pikey.

Sim Pikey allows you to cusomize a number of different caravans and the pikeys that live inside them. You can choose traditional horse drawn caravans, to more modern caravans, and choose the decor, right down to specific stains on the walls.

Pikey pets also play a big part in the game, and you can choose from a huge number of gypo mongrel dogs to guard your pikey palace. Not only that, you can also choose whether the gypo dog will be tied to the post with blue string, or red!

The biggest range of features allow you to custom your pikey families. You can alter the frequency of their baths, from as often a fortnightly, to as rarely as annually, which is the default. Pikey clothing is fully customizable too, but each pikey is limited to just one set of clothes which they will also sleep in. "Stuff the Poll Tax" is a very popular T-shirt slogan amongst Pikey's, as well as those celebrating great sporting events, such as 'Spain 82'.

A range of day time activities are available to Pikeys too, such as selling 'lucky heather' to thieving washing from gardens, stealing cars, and selling on (stolen) scrap metal.

Sim Pikey will be available for you to thieve this Friday.

They are gypsies, so GYP will be the start.

Gypo would sound a little like biro.

So I think Gyppo is the correct spelling.

I don't know.

I wasn't happy with the 'gypo' I went for. I swear it should have 5 letters, but none of the variations quite look pikey enough.

Just how do you spell gypo?

Is it:

gypo
gyppo
gippo
jippo
jyppo
jipo
gipo

I've seen all these variations and am none the wiser.

LOL - great stuff!

Especially the bits about Gypo Mongrel Dogs and Stealing Cars!
Brad Pitt in Snatch also came to my mind...

:D

Tee Hee.

Great idea.

They could develop their own 'sim Pikey' language just like Brad Pitts character in 'Snatch'.
