Looking at Group A, with both Senegal and Denmark on 4 points and poor France on a miserable 0, it isn't hard to imagine how it could all go wrong. Sure enough, they play other group losers today (Uruguay) and should breeze it. But they should have breezed senegal too. Without Zidane, France lack wind in their sails, and 3 points today is vital for them. Senegal and Denmark are in demanding positions, both only needing one more point to guarantee qualification for the next round.
France are under pressure. Personally I would like to see them go out. Show the world that they aren't as tough as they make out. Excellent to see a team like Senegal force their way through to the next stage too.
