Call those realistic racers? Like we can consider it realistic to race some the greatest cars ever built around flowing tracks. Nope, not going to happen, is it.

If these racers really want to call themselves realistic, they're going to have to make a few changes...

New cars are out to begin with, boy racers can't afford anything new, or anything sporting either. A selection of Ford Fiesta's, Vauxhall Nova's, Renault's and Peugeot's will be available to players of the game, plus a wad of cash with which several modifications can be made, alloy wheels, and big, big sound systems.

Gone too will be the glamourous tracks, replaced with real city streets. But this is no Metropolis Street Racer, nope, this is Market Town Barry Fest. Take to the streets of Leamington Spa, Ely, Basingstoke, Crewe, Farnborough, Huddersfield, and many more and race around a number of obvious circuits, slowing down outside the 'kebab house' to hurl abuse at the crowds that have gathered outside to partake in the eating of ill-gotten meats.

These town centres are not only playable to race around, there are also a number of car parks to unlock in each town. The big supermarket car parks allow for further races to take place, and other such fun activities, including 'car-surfing' in which you drive whilst someone balances on top of the car, 'chicken' in which you must drive towards another car, and not swerve, and also skidmark and wheelspin challenges.

Not only do you get a choice of car and track, but also a choice of driver, with 4 to choose from initially, all called Barry, with further Barry's to unlock. Each Barry has a different taste in music, ranging from poor quality commercial dance music of today, to poor quality Euro-dance pop from the mid 90's. Also, each Barry has different dialogue as they drive around, though much of this won't be heard over the pounding bass.

If you can't cutit for real as a Barry then why not go for the next best thing. You can experience the life of a Barry almost for real with Market Town Barry Fest. All of the thrills of the race, all of the fantastic tunes, and best of all, a whole range of Tesco car parks. You need this in you life right now!
