My Mum came upstairs a minute ago and goes to me "Son, have you shat yourself?". Well, obviously I hadn't, because I'm 21 and grew out of that months ago. But I have been letting slip some rather squidgy silent efforts tonight - maybe these account for what Mumsy can smell?

It depends on the smell but we cant always smell our own farts, as the brain can block it out.
It could be incontinence setting in, and you just wouldn't know...
