TBN! TBN? TBN!? Are you Ok? I was worried about you! Ah, you replied to Blaze's 'Who is still on now?' topic, so I guess you managed to piece yourself together.
Anyway, I'm sitting here, listening to music, posting, writing, posting anc chatting. What a great life, eh? Ah well, I go out every night with my girlfriend [ahem], so it can't be that bad ;D
Ahem.
"The Fencing Problem."
Ant, what's the coursework problem set¿
Hmm.. ¿. shift+win, shift+?, shift+? gives ¿.
¡! ¨"
Hmm...
"A farmer has a 1000m of fencing. She wants to make a plot with the maximum area to be surrounded by the fencing."
Something like that. Basically, I have to investigate all different kinds of shapes by drawing them, writing notes, doing tables and graphs etc. It shouldn't be too hard, but I'm not that good at Maths and I'm struggling on what to write and in what order to do it.

Or you could make an equation and then use optimization to give you a straight answer.
I had to do something like this.
Bacially Ant, all you need do is say "she'll have this size field if the field is square. But if the field has 5 sides, then the area will be slighly more. So what about 6 sides, or 7 or 8? Oooh look, the more sides the bigger the area. And a circle just has millions of real small sides. So a circle would be best."
Then just work out the radius that would give you a circumference of 1000m, and you're there.
Sorted.

Yeah, you can import those now for something like £25-30.
I think fl-games.com is one of the places where you can get them from??
Good idea for all those little people who can't hold the ones we currently have over here.
