I really have tried my hardest to like this album, but it is proving impossible. Despite repeated listnings (I've been told many times that it is a grower), it still doesn't seem to be the 'Best. Album. Ever.' that so many people consider it to be.

The tracks seem to be a mishmash of noises...there is no structure anywhere. It's as though the group went into the studio and said 'Just play what the hell you like, whenever you like'. The vocalist, although cleary talented, can't seem to give anything any kind of hook.

I like my music to have a chourus of some sort, or at least a hummable guitar riff. Maybe thats why I don't like it - too complicated.

This said...it still has a few fantastic tracks. Exit Music and Karma Police are great, with No Surprises and Climbing Up The Walls also rocking a few bells.

3 star.

That said - I intend to get Pablo Honey and The Bends at some point, just to see what all the fuss is about.

its probably best if you do not go anywhere near Kid A or amnesiac then, cuz if your having trouble with OK Computer their latest two will really annoy you.

I personally think they are both excellent (especially the song Kid A) but then I have got bizarre taste in music.
