I am on the last mission where you have to get out of the ship on the warthog. I get to the point where you have to make a jump but I do not get anywhere close to the other side and then I fall and die. How do you do it?

i looked, they have no walkthrough for Halo

Take a look at games domain they should have a walkthrough.

Take a good long run up at it, hold forward the whole time, even when your over the edge, and keep the jeep in a straight line. You should just make it.

This really wound me up, took me loads of attempts and kept dying, but the second i show someone else the trouble i'm having, it bloody works!

Just keep going at it, and make sure you dont hit those small ramps at the sides of the road, otherwise you'll flip and die.

Also, when your in the tunnel areas (the ones with all the pillars and ramps inside), look for Covenant coming out of doors on the left wall. Turn the Warthog into the door and ride up the passage then turn left at the exit and you'll cut some time off. I think you get to do this twice, but it does help a little. :-)

I'm sure it took most people several frustrating attempts to complete the final run, but I much prefer endings like Halos than contrived boss battles.

What drove me mad was the very last stretch which you had to do on foot - scrambling for the ship's door..... and then getting killed just yards away.

Good ending though. White-knuckle stuff.

Yea when u jump ease off the accelerator and pull slightly back on the stick when you land on the mid point range reverse and bit the fool throttle it.



2 months trying the one day found that tactic off and did that level 2wice just to check if it weren't a fluke

if your still stuck on the big jump at the end of level ten, a way to do it that im about to explain to you can`t be the way its meant to be done, but its the only way i`ve ever found possible. As the "surviving a plane crash theory" goes, jump of the ramp in your warthog and(as long as it doesnt flip) just before it hits the floor casually exit the vehicle, thus
avoiding the momentum of the cars flight, and leaving you to hop back in
and escape halo while all your marine chums burn!
