Apparently they could be working on a joint venture soon, and if this goes well, could a merger be in the pipeline. Sega are said to be concentrating on software and their ISP more in the future, even thought there are rumours of a new console, so could it be that they are planning for the Gamecube games to be compatible with Sega's ISP, so we can have Gamecube vs Dreamcast (or Dreamcast2) online?

Sounds good, but I don't know what they can gain from this, they would have to share all the money, and Sega would probably get less than they do now. Don't know this, I'm guessing here, so don't quote me.

The real news story was that someone that used to work at Nintendo was going to work for Sega.
