A few days ago I read that soon in the near future a great thing would be happening to the sales industry... Holding stock will be a thing of the past, There seems to be talk of every music shop and gaming store bringing in computers with huge databases of games, music, dvd, everything!!! All you do is find what you want to buy, take a ticket and pay at the counter. sound familiar? thats where your wrong, instead of giving you a cd they have in stock, they actually burn the cd right there and then which eliminates the need for any stock which therefore frees up more space, good eh? I think its a great idea, not only will it bring prices down but you,ll be able to find those games that you never thought you'd see again, like DOOM & BLOOD, I,ve been looking everywhere for them but as you guess, no joy, anyway tell me what you think. THANX.
They did a report on this on tommorows world, it wont be with dvds at first i think and you wont be able to get everything only music not games (yet). You wont be able to get every single song as some bands dint agree, or recored companies but the database can only get bigger. You should be able to get at least 50% of cds.
