Y'know I can't wait until MOH Frontline arrives in the post,
cos its the game I want most, and though I don't like to boast
this recent GAD prize has saved me 7 Green Queen notes
and with the landing on the coast and your fellow soldiers mostly toast,
I'll be playing this alongside my grandad's holy ghost,
it looks so close to real, I might need to see psychiatrists
to examine how I feel, and what it meant when I was writing this,
I'll be suffering from shell-shock, from playing all the fighting bits,
head rocking in a padded cell, having flashbacks, tryin to bite my wrists.
Praise GAD, the guiding light in my life
you make me glad to write sh*te in the night
more illzen ryhmes, and another SR rap
most lines are good, but some I confess are crap
I think I'm nearly 'Regular', although I'll still remain unusual,
and try never to abuse the rules, just confuse you or amuse you all,
though I rarely get replies... of that I do accuse you all,
[because it interests me to see what kind of views you've formed]
but please don't write a rant at me about the latest Final Fantasy
that game would make me sad, you see, by grating on my sanity,
because I think the greatest titles are closer to reality
but please don't get me wrong, I still like originality

The most recent game I bought was the strange Mister Moskeeto
It seems such a shame that it was finished quicker than Doritos
[I'm not entirely sure it was worth exchanging for Ico]
but completing it again will surely help me sleep though
The next release I'm looking forward to is Prisoner of War
with homemade human catapults and digging in the floor
even sneaking out of doors when the guards' vision is poor
and eccentric English pilots dishing out unwritten laws

My favourite ever classic must be Street Fighter 2,
at the arcades till I'm brassic, then my Dreamcast might just do,
if there's more SF fanatics, let me know and I will write to you
[I had to make that rhyme, so I guess that might not quite be right or true!]
But its that third installment of Grand Theft Auto
that gets me most excited, with all those hand-less torsoes
it leaves me so delighted, I am demanding as I ought to
that version number 4 immediately gets brought through

To me, it just seemed like a desperate attempt at GAD, with all the references to it and all, but please, forgive me if I am wrong, for I apologize...sodding git...;D

That made me laugh. A lot.

Mr Fever, alot of my posts are GAD attempts... but to be honest, in my opinion, that is a perfectly decent incentive to try and write something interesting. If you were to say you'd never written something on these forums with the thought of a GAD in the back of your mind, you'd most probably be telling porkies.
And please, please, please don't compare me to Wyclef... he can barely manage a rhyming couplet!
But cheers for reading it anyway ; >
