First half.
We were the better side, but Sweden did play like legless donkeys. Congratulations to Campbell for his first international goal.
Half Time.
We were now thinking that we could walk over Sweden, which we could've.
Second Half.
Started nice and lively, then the worst display of football I have ever seen occured. Completely chickenshite. Sweden outclassed us. I hate Ljungberg.
So the table is as follows
1. Argentina P.1 W.1 L.0 D.0 GF.1 GA.0 Points= 3
2. England P.1 W.0 L.0 D.1 GF.1 GA.1 points= 1
= Sweden P.1 W.0 L.0 D.1 GF.1 GA.1 points= 1
4. Nigeria P.1 W.0 L.1 D.0 GF.0 GA.1 points= 0
So we now have to beat Argentina, certainly easier said than done. If we draw to the Argies, and sweden win, the the table'll look a little like this
1. Argentina P.2 W.1 L.0 D.1 GF.? GA.? Points= 4
2. Sweden P.2 W.1 L.0 D.1 GF.? GA.? points= 4
3. England P.2 W.0 L.0 D.2 GF.? GA.? points= 2
4. Nigeria P.2 W.0 L.2 D.0 GF.? GA.? points= 0
Then, were fudged.
Well what a crappy start to the world cup campaign.
(Key, P- Played
W- Won
L- lost
D- Drawn
GF- Goals For
GA- Goals against)
Sorry again freinds?
Sure

But this is a disscussion forum, and we are entitled to our views. Whether they be good or bad.
O.K. here are my thoughts on todays game. For what it's worth.
In the first half we looked pretty good. We were confident on the ball, we treatened their goal a few times and Sweden didn't look like scoring. Great goal by Campbell.
Second half. Oh dear.
We (by that I mean Mills) panicked in defence and gifted them a goal.
Now that shouldn't really have mattered because we were the best side at the time. But as England do so well, instead of controling the game as we were doing we resorted to the old route one football.
Lofting long balls to Vasell and Owen is never really gonna work. we sat back and defended far too deep, letting them come at us.
I think one of the main problems was that the we had absolutely no service from the back. Instead of trying to play the ball forward to the strikers we, how shall I say....Hoofed it.
Its not all doom and gloom though. I think if we went into the Argentina match with three point we might not play as well as if we have the one.
Now we have got to really take it to the Argies. England play better when the bulldog spirit kicks in and we have really got something to play for.
The Argies certainly didn't look unbeatable in their match today and if we play like we did in the first half of todays match then we can take them.
*breathes out*
I just meant that it's slightly unlikely, OK, I may of exaggerated it. But there is a possibility that we could get sent home early if we don't win.
