The thing about the gamebay is that it's been around for so long! Since about 1990 i think. So I don't think that the advance will have as long a life. I think that people are still getting used to the colour gameboy. That could have kept that going for a few more years, then released something even more powerful, couldnt they?

I think The GBA will do ok - I think it will rely a lot on the pokemon license at first though. With the extra power it'll have though maybe we can expect to see other Nintendo titles get a move onto the handheld like F-Zero :-) I think a lot of the early games will be new versions of existing Nintendo characters / games. Expect a few Pokemon and Mario games and probably a Zelda game at some point. A game i would like to play on it (not to mention the N64) is Metroid. Hopefully that'll be one they produce soon :-)
Maybe it could even break some ground and have a strategy game on it ! Afterall with the extra power it has i'm sure they could do some kind of command and conquer game or something similar on it. Think it would need a save option in the middle of missions or skirmishes though - or there'll be a lot of people with stiff and sore necks hahaha ;-)

This is a tough question as the gameboy is now a legend, a symbol of success in the world of gaming. Alomst everyone I know owns a gameboy, and 90% or more of them have a version of pokemon, a gamev of quality. More people would think this about pokemon if there was less hype such as trading cards. The GameBoyAdvance is a 32meg system, it looks quite sleek and I'm sure it will feel right in the hand, however what about the quality of games? Will it be like PSX? Have loads of games but few of them any good? Or will it have a good range of great games? Only time will tell. A new pokemon quest is obvious, so is new mario games and other fav's such as Donkey Kong. But will new and original games be released? I certainly hope so. I believe it will be a hit, just like the gamecube and original gameboy. Nintendo are the brains behind it so how can it fail?
