Terrestrial television is not even worth watching these days, Coronation Street, Eastenders, The Royle Family and Who wants to be a millionaire are the 4 most watched TV programmes on terrestrial TV.
In my opinion the BBC and ITV should get their act together and put on more films and documentaries. Sky is the only thing worth having, showing loads of programmes and of course having Sky Box office, so you can order films you want, when you want to watch them. Now ITV have a blockbuster film on every Friday at 9:00pm, I would say that is a bit lousy, 1 blockbuster film a week (but some weeks there not even blockbuster hits)
The BBC are attempting to put more programmes that the viewers want but even that is not coming on very well.
The thing that bugs me is if someone does not use terrestrial only Sky or Cable then why do they have to pay for terrestrial TV.
One Last thing and a pretty big thing: What has happened to the good old Saturday night Tele???

I generally find that after watching SKY programs for a week or so, that BBC/ITV/CH4et al. are often show far too mentally taxing TV programs...
