"The N64 has a great line up of games and won't die for a long time!"
but although you're right, it's still dying, even if it doesn't actually die until the Gamecube comes out.
The next thought that may enter your head is that:
"It's a pity, the N64 was a great machine!"
But you're wrong! It's a good thing for N64 owners/non-owners alike!
It can be a pity if a console dies, especially if it's death was before it the console reached it's full potential. The N64 has had a fair life (not as long or as good life as the PS but a fairly good one) and has collected a catalogue of games that other consoles would kill for.
So why is it good that it's dying?
Well the shops see it dying and start to sell games that don't sell well for really cheap. Not all these games are necesarily bad.
Turok Rage Wars, Forsaken and Body Harvest. All brilliant games and all for £10 or less! (Turok Rage Wars is a brilliant game and was only released last christmas!)
Micro machines, Worms Armageddon, these are great fun and also going cheap!
Mario 64, Zelda 64 Banjo Kazooie, Mario Kart 64, Fzero X, Goldeneye, all brilliant games you can get for roughly £20.
DK64 WITH an expansion pak only £30 (expansion paks cost £20 alone!).
Ok, so the newest games stil cost about £40 and the N64 itself cost's from £60 - £80 first hand but these are bound to come down in price soon or be cheap second hand.
If you haven't got an N64, it's worth buying as a cheap ADDITION to your console collection. Otherwise, you could miss out on some of the greatest classics ever.
If you do buy one, I can garauntee that it will atleast last you until the Gamecube comes out!
