I am sorry to say I am displeased with your products. As a proud fan of your products for over 13 years, being 17 years of age, I am extremely disappointed with your latest range of products.
Here's why:
On June 22nd 2001, I bought a Game Boy Advance with Super Mario Advance, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and F-Zero Maximum Velocity. Sure, they're all brilliant games, and the Game Boy Advance is brilliant, but there is one problem with the games I am sure your designers didn't take into account.
The cartridges are too small!
Surely, after designing products for the younger of age, you should have realised that the original Game Boy Cartridges are as small as you should ever get! Everyone knows that young people always lose things, especially small things, so designing games to fit on a piece of circuit-board just larger than a special edition first class postage stamp was, don't you think, a tad stupid!
Because of this, for the first time ever, I have lost F-Zero Maximum Velocity. I can not find it anywhere! I kept all my Game Boy games of all kinds in an old Ice-cream tub, so that I know where they all are. When I looked for F-Zero, I couldn't find it. I searched and searched everywhere, but it's just gone!
You have done the same with the official Memory Card 59's for the GameCube. Why? Sure, they can fit inside the DVD cases of games, but how convinient is that if you're playing more than one game a lot? You're more likely to leave it on the top of something and forget where than put it away each time! Atleast the N64 memory cards had thickness to them!
So this is it, I found an error in your ways and I am not happy. Hopefully I will find F-Zero and will be happy once again. But until then, don't expect to stay in my good books unless you do someting really good to impress me.
Yours regretfully,
Edgy.
(Based on true life - letter not actually sent to Nintendo but explains how I feel at the moment.)
You could just go and buy a pack of about 6 GBA game cases for around £5 from somewhere like SR, or you could get the free GBA carry case, and keep 4 games in that with the console too.
I lost Mario Advance the other day, but soon found it.
I don't ever play on it, but I just felt like a quick go on it for one reason or another.
One thing i'm scared about is breaking the GC game discs!
They're only 8cm, and i've only ever really used carts before.
I'm sure that someone will step on at least on of them one day - as a sloppy friend or someone is likely to leave it out of he case! :S
Wahoo!
I found the floor of my bedroom, which I never knew existed, and under my bed (how the hell did it get there?) I found F-Zero whilst nearly sucking it up the vacuum.....ah well, it's safe now :)
> Well if I can lose the Conker's Pocket Tales Game Boy Color cartridge,
> what hope have I got with Game Boy Advance cartridges?!?!
What I want to know is....how the hell can you lose that just as soon as you take it out the box?
(I was there too, it just vanished! And I've got my own copy...with it's box and manual before anyone blames me!)
