What if games characters became pop-artists, appeared in the charts, and were suddenly being interviewed on pirate radio stations all over the world? Well here is a selection of famous games characters: (topic inspired by someone on here who has ideas but has forgotten how to type - idiot!)

If Mario made music:

If Mario made music, chances are that he's make summer-style songs. You can just imagine him playing the bongos, marracas and many more a latin-style instrument, singing (although that can't be good for the Italian-stallion's voice box) happy and cheery songs about dancing, and waving arms in the air, the pop-video featuring Mario, and a whole load of koopas dancing behind him in sequence.

Bowser would most probably play Bongos, Luigi on the trumpet and princess peach on the decks whilst a band of koopas (Iggy, Kamek, etc) play woodwind and drums.

If Sonic made music:

Sonic's voice is more styled to the rap or alternate-rock section of the industry. Sonic would obviously be on vocals, and maybe, if she makes herself sound a little tougher, do a duo with Amy. Knuckles would obviously be on percussion or lead guitar if any involved and Tails would just be ignored for sounding like a girl.

In the video, it would be set in a night-club or a 70s disco where Sonic is changing the scene. Real people around him would dace the way he does to the music, but he better not mime though otherwise he'd be totally out of sync!

If Lara made music:

Well Lara's voice could suit soul music, but that's not her scene. Lara Croft's best attempt at making music would be to jump out of a giant cake singing "Happy Boithday Mr Presidant" for George Bush's Twiftieth birthday. However, when she jumps out, the weight of the bowling balls that are to disguise her inverted chest will snap her waist and will instantly kill her.

If Earthworm Jim made music:

Well there's only one word to describe the kind of music this guy would create: Crazy! He'd create a kind of style of music which uses funny tunes and puts crazy words to them. e.g. Ooh Eee Ooh Ah Ah, Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing Bang, Ooh Eee Ooh Ah Ah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing Bang! It was Earthworm Jim who wrote that you know and the Cartoons (thanks to Dark Mark for reminding me the band name - hehe he remembers :) ) took all the credit!

If Link made music:

Link would of course either play classical (not sing) or play, with the aid of his ocarina, tunes for Irish people with limp arms to tapdance to (Riverdance). You wouldn't ever see him on stage, and his name will be in the middle of a large amount of credits after the tour. Sad really as this guy has got a lot of talent.

What do you think of the above ideas, and do you know any other characters that might adopt a style of music?
