Don't beleive it, Rare would never announce something like that when they're still part owned by Nintendo. There have been no official announcments by Rare about any of this so it's a load of bollards.

Good point - Rare are still part-owned by Nintendo!
And Shigsy and co. would never let their no.1 developers go and assist their main rivals for 2nd place in the Console War - considering how the PS2 is miles ahead already!

It's probably just a highly ambitious stunt from the magazine to try and get it to sell!

I spose the only other answer is that they're simply gunna do a Director's Cut of the N64 original. lol

Rare are probably too busy with kameo and dinosaur planet, to even consider going multiformat yet. I am sure they are working on a lot of games, but they like to keep things top secret.

Good points - plus OPS2 mag said Rare were bringing out PS2 games at this years E3!
