I highly doubt that. It'll be a lot longer than half a year! A year at the very VERY least I suspect.
And it better be released on GameCube (or PS2 but preferably GC). I don't want an X-Box but I'll be pretty pithed off if I can't continue playing Shenmue! I loved both of them on the Dreamcast and I own a PS2 and GameCube so either would be fine for a release.

But Shenmue 3 hasn't even been officially announced yet. As for what console that it's appearing on, well that's anyone's guess, but I'd wager the Xbox (if Shenmue 2x sales go well). The Gamecube has a slim chance of getting it. I doubt the PS2 will.
