I use the word star in the title loosely as some of those mentioned are famous due to clever marketing and not skill.
Oh well a comical post on what games music stars would make if given the chance.
Pop Idol stars Will and Gareth
They would release a series of games staring themselves, of course they are just copies of older games, with a few additions from themselves such as covers of songs for the music and voices. Will would play a camp looking chap in a latex suit and gareth with his s-s-s-s-super stutter would be dressed in pop idol sposored clothing. The series of games would include, Pop idol kart (A rip off of mario kart except the other characters would be from pop idol, yes even big rick copying bowser), Super Pop Idol ball (Copy of Super monkey ball except the little games are collecting music notes etc) and Pop idol soccer 2002(a rip off of the fifa games, with the pop idol stars taking on people from other talent style shows as star in their eyes etc).
Marketing would take over the industry, much larger as we see these days with a huge increase in young pre-teen girls becoming gamers.
Eminem
He would chose to release games just to annoy those who protest what he says, games which require you to do things that people dislike, make fun of gays, talk about drugs, sex and music. Your main objective would be to survive in a part of the music industry that by colour you are degraded against a little. Do anything to get to the top, beat people, sleep with women and say what you want. His games would contain explicit material, for adults only but children would sweet talk parents into buying it who would then complain about it.
Elton John
Would use another persons game and use his image to make it a success, this other man wouldn't be his boyfriend but he may fancy him a little. He would tell people of this other persons involvement in his string of games but people would ignore him as he isn't the star. Some games would be for the die hard gamers, giving the ultimate thrill of games whereas some would have a more meaningful message that only true fans would understand. Games about rocketmen, yellow brick roads, yes the titles are poor but the games will gather hundreds of fans.
Britney Spears
Oh she has already made one. But ooops she'll do it again (poor I know but alcohol does that to you) her next game will see her image as pop princess drawn to the line as she competes with other hott females in a battle to be the best, hidden features include topless foxy boxing and mudd wrestling. Of course not before she is married as she is innocent but it is amazing what programmers can do these days :-)
No sound will be supplied with the game only her official CD to play along side it, nobody really listens to her music anyway, just watch the vids.

That's the one... it was originally made for arcades, then ported to the megadrive and master system...
I remembered it being quite good, but having played it again today on my master system.... well, it's rubbish really.

That's the one... it was originally made for arcades, then ported to the megadrive and master system...
