"This windmill is driving me conker's!"

In conker's bad fur day on the n64, ontop of sprial mountain there seems to a be a windmill.
however all it seems to do is get blown up near the end.

you can't get through the door in the front and no matter how hard i try i can't jump high enough to get to the opening directly above the doors.

is there any perpose for it to be there rather than get blown up, can you get through the entrance abgove the doors or is it there just to look pretty?
