As you know, it is being re-released this summer as a summer blockbuster starring everyone's favourite Hollywood Neighbour Guy Pearce, and Irish songstress Samantha Mumba.
As a huge fan of the original book by H.G. Wells and the original film version (which I have on DVD), I was disappointed to here they have tinkered with the story.
What are you thoughts on the film?

I think that the film will be OK, but won't be a patch on the original even with its flashy special effects.

And Jeremy Irons. And it's out tomorrow.
Guy Pearce was class in L.A. Confidential and Memento, and alright in The Count of Monte Cristo. I'd rate him as one of the best actors in Hollywood at the moment, therefore I'm looking forward to this.
Samantha Mumba is also fit. A plus.
