Have you heard the latest from Oasis, 'stop crying your heart out' or something? I swear the chorus to this sounds like something of their first album, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Anyone agree, want to suggest which of their own songs they're ripping off?

If you look on the official Oasis site it has this to say:

"Entitled ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’, this classic, epic Oasis song was penned by Noel Gallagher and is sung by Liam."

So, there you go.

I'm 100% sure Noel wrote this song not Liam.

Liam did write it. He wrote 4 of the new ones apparantly. Its a bit whiny for my taste though - they put far too many female chorus' behind their new stuff. Sounds like a mixture of sunday morning call and dont go away

They arent really ripping others off there, they are kind of using there own music again, yet still making damn good stuff to listen to, and to be honest, before i read this i didnt even realise it sounded like another song, so it makes little difference to me anyway.

I agree with your sentiments there! The thing is though, Oasis are utterly full of themselves. Surely they should be a little bit humble if they're going to rip other artists off?

I have Heathen Chemistry on Minidisc. Crap quality and you have to turn it up really loud to here it but I still have it.

It's really NOT Oasis, but it's still damn good. Most of it is unlike them but I really like every track except for one.

Still, what I'd give for the Muse album.....

The bit you're referring to is from Don't Look Back in Anger, when Noel goes: "You ain't ever gonna burn my heart out", just before the chorus.
Compared to the new Stop Crying Your Heart Out, in which Liam remarks:
"Stop Crying Your Heart Out". Yes they sound the same, no I don't care. Really good song, actually.

Hmm, maybe so but its still one of there better songs. You got to say its going to be going to number one, its just one of them songs that do. I think its more down the lines of Cast No Shadow and Champagne Supernova though.

Still, i like it, its a good song i can listen to.
