I goto my fav's list in IE (version 6 on Win98), right click and want to change the Web Address for it, as the Web Site has changed (www.wwf.com to www.wwe.com). I am always told' however that I "Cannot apply changes to this Internet Shortcut" by a message box, and the only way out of the properties box is to click cancel.

Hide dirty sites? I wouldn't dream of going on any of them! :-0
Besides, I live with three of my mates so parents aren't a problem....

>Whats wrong with the Fav.s list????
Nothing's wrong but I just prefer to have a nice web-page which you can add graphics to and then all you need to do is click Home and then choose where you want to go. Favourites are alright but a bit boring and involve more mouse clicks.......I think?
Thanks, and Lord Humungous, thanks for the offer, but its not needed :o) Seems to me more work though??? Whats wrong with the Fav.s list????
:-D
However... do you have any wrestling related software/games on your computer? It's strange the way that bookmark has changed.
My preferred solution would be this: delete your old bookmark, go to the new site and add /that/ one to your favourites. Simple but effective.
Oh, and stop visiting wrestling sites...;~)
Sod the "Favourites" feature. Write a web page and store it on your C: drive with links to all the sites you visit most and then make it your homepage.
Problem solved.... all you then have to do is change the code of the links if they were to change.
If you want the code then just send me a mail to [email protected] and I'll reply with the necessary attachments.
