Sorry if this has been covered by you lot before but I looked down the threads and couldn't find anything.
Where are the playable Gamecube demo's then. The official mag doesnt have them and I havn't seen any anywhere else.
All I have seen are video demo's which can't be played on the GC but ironically can be played on my PS2 ! Very strange - so anybody know if there are likely to be any playable ones anywhere or is it some kind of cost thing with Ninty using there own disc format ?

So this is where you are hiding then ?? The carrots are growing fine at the mo so I have plenty of spare time ;-)
Anyway - demo's .... That was one of thing's that surprised me when I actually got the GC out of the box, where was the demo disc ?
One way that Nintendo can ensure sales of future titles is to issue playable demo's for us punters to try out. I know there are planty of games that we will go and buy based on reviews and our own knowledge and expectance of them but there are also others that we might not think about, but having the chance to play a demo could just change our minds.
It jars with me too. One of the reasons I decided to buy a PS over an N64 was the ability to try out demos, and see what I was getting for my hard earned cash. OK, so the GC has it's own disc format, and it's not cheap for every Tom, Dick and Harry to write those discs. But I'd hope there was some plan to get demos available for the GC. I mean, the PS2, XBox and PC have them, it's one area the GC is lacking in. If Nintendo want to get rid of their ivory tower image once and for all, the GC needs demos.
