For crying out loud, everyone said E3 would be bye bye Nintendo from Rare, but look... nothing... nothing at all... so obviously everyone was wrong Rare aren't going multi-format, well obviously they are.
At this years show Starfox Adventures was there from RARE, No Kameo, no Donkey Kong Racing no new announcements no nothing!! Nothing at all which delivers a strong message to me that they are going multi and the one deciding thing was the announcement of Donkey Kong +. I learn today the new DK title is being made by... Nintendo.
Not RARE? Hmmm I wonder why?
I'm getting fed up, the wait is killing me.

So long as Rare still release all their titles on the Gamecube (as well as any other formats), I'm happy.

Spaceworld would be better for Nintendo, at E3 it is the oppertunity for everyone to laugh at Nintendo, at Spaceworld it is Nintendo's show so they can dumb it down.

Good point. I think that Rare didn't have much to show/are keeping things under wraps so they decided not to make an appearence. OR, they didn't want to be completed overshadowed by Nintendo and thier plethora of top titles.

I would say the delay may have something to do with Yamuchi's resigination. If Rare are thinking about going multiformat they may want to see how things will be under the new boss (not sure on the spelling, something like Ackawara... actually nothing like that, but vaguely related).
I wouldn't take the lack of announcements as an indication of anything. Nintendo were having a big show already - announcements on Mario, Zelda and Metroid had to be made. Remembering Spaceworld is in a few months, Rare might be waiting until then to try and get more of the limelight.

I reckon they'll probably announce it after Starfox is released, that wayu they will have no ties with Nintendo. God knows what's gonna happen to Donkey Kong Racing though. As long as they release a Banjo and Conker and Perfect Dark sequel then i'll be happy even if it is mulit-platform.
