It seems a pretty dumb question to ask but have all the Wrestlers in the World today actually got Wrestling Talent? I don't think so. An example of "non talented" Wrestler would be The Rock. Ok he is a great entertainer. Better entertainer than some of the actual main eventers like himself but don't you agree that The Rock has loads of Charisma more than Wrestling Talent that gets him through this business?

I mean, the one proper Wrestler you can actually say is Kurt Angle. He won a Gold Medal for Wrestling for America in 1996. Ok, he isn't as brilliant as the High Flying Rob Van Dam but he actual does more moves than any other Wrestler in the WWE.

Other examples of not really talented Wrestlers are Stone Cold Steve Austin, Big Show, Kevin Nash. These three men are mainly brawlers. Don't get me wrong, they can entertain but is that what makes this business what it is today? I bet you, if you did a survey, 9 times out of 10 the High Flying, fact paced matches would get the better mark than lets say the Brawling battle of Stone Cold Vs The Big Show.

High Flying, fast paced matches are exciting to watch and are actually entertaining. RVD is a perfect example of a Wrestler that could make a not so talented Wrestler look good. The not so talented Wrestler could take most of the punishment and not make many moves and still make the match entertaining.

I believe the Cruiserweights are the future of Wrestling. Maybe not for a long time but when they do I can damm well guarantee that they will be up top.

They all have wrestling talent. To me, either if your an 'Entertaining' wrestler or an olympic style wrestler. You have talent. The Rock's a tough guy. Cut him some slack. He could out-wrestle you anyday. OK so he got beat up by a Panda once. But so would I! And that's hard for me to say! I do both types of wrestling by the way, so I HAVE TO have talent!

I'm also Tazz.

...nuff said.

In my opinion the Rock is a great wrestler. His matches can be very high paced with a range of moves on show despite what people seem to think. He's a larger than life character in the ring which makes everything he does seem better and styled in his own way. William Regal is a bit like this to a lesser extent. He lives his character in the ring making matche smore entertaining. People like Benoit, Angle and Malenko may have a huge amount of basic wrestling skills but in the ring they can lack personality. While the Benoit vs Angle submission match at Backlash(?) 2001 showcased a lot of wrestling skill, at some points it got a bit dull and I found myself looking at the timer waiting for it to end.

The true sign of a good wrestler is that they can carry even the most useless opponent to a great matche. Remember the IC title feud between Benoit and Billy Gunn? That looked great because Benoit made Gunn look talented, even though he blatantly isn't. Kurt Angle does it too, no disrespect to Kane or Edge who are good but not great wrestlers, but they look world-class when they fight Angle. RVD too made Jeff Hardy look good. As for when two of these wrestlers get together, I just sit back and could watch them all night. Benoit vs Angle, has provided the best matches i've ever seen in WWE history and I'm itching for Benoit to face Van Dam sometime soon!

Yeah, he can brawl OK, but he's not THAT technical. Hell, he used to have trouble powerbombing X-Pac, nevermind people like the Rock and that

Benoit, Angle, RVD. All great wrestlers, and three of my favourite wrestlers

Yep, agree totally.

I'd also like to add that wrestlers with a mixture can give great performances. Sorry to go on about him again, but Y2J would be a good example. He weights in at something like 220lbs, which basically makes him a Cruiserweight. This is proved when he performs moves like a Lionsault. Yet he can also brawl to an extent, and can perform powerful and technical moves including suplexes and submissions.
