You shouldn't do that. Emotions and a desire for mental freedom should be bottled up and stored at the back of the mind where they won't affect your performance. Emotions are weaknesses. The weak should be destroyed.

Sure, it may be too emotional if it is raw, recent emotion that you have experienced, but if it something long term, like love, then, although it may mess you around a Lot, you can still pour it all out.
Its made me feel......not better but contented that I fianly told somebody what I Really feel, not what I half-feel.

That's why you should write more. Writing helps free the mind a little, makes it easier for stuff to come out.
Everyone has a mind (debateable), and everyone will have an emotional story. Yet some don't want to tell them.
Why?
1) They can't write well.
2) It's too emotional.
