There aren't any proper RPGs for Gamecube yet.
Lost Kingdoms is a card based RPG and meant to be pretty kool.
Phantasy Star Online and Card Battle out next year no doubt in the UK.
A Square RPG for Gamecube is due at XMas in the US.
Tales Of Phantasia by Namco out early next year.
Skies of Arcadia by Sega due later this year.
VF Quest by Sega due next summer.
Giftopia by Nintendo due spring next year.
Not really that much to be happy about for RPG fans, altho those titles listed should be of good quality there is only 1 before xmas this year.

Also Baldurs Gate: Dark Allience I believe is being ported to the GC! I have it on PS2 - Its an amazing game!

-Final Fantasy - exclusive GC games, will also use GBA link-up
-Starfox Adventures: 'Dinosaur Planet' - Developed by Rare, later this year
-Zelda: OoT: 'Director's Cut' - Rumour of an 'Ocarina of Time' re-make
-Skies of Arcadia - Announced for GC a while back, but have heard no more
There's a few right there, and there are bound to be over twice as many during the next few years!
If you ask me, the GameCube should be every RPG fans' choice in a next-generarion console!
