Roy Keane admitted that he would like to return to the Ireland squad live on T.V in Ireland. The ball is now in Mcarthy and the Ireland football associations court and they will decide on wether to allow Keane to rejoin the squad. However, it looks like they will not let him in as Mcarthy could not face working with him after the actions of Keane.

i no this has nothing to do with sport but there are always arguments goin on everywhere so check this one out.If you've read a review, and thought it was wrong or tried a cheat to find it doesnt work? if you have, tell the person who posted it what you think. post there nickname on here and write what they've done to annoy you. Did anyone see Niall Quinn in that interview today???
He was almost crying because of how badly Keane's gunna be missed!
He also said that he's an experienced proffesional crying, and asked to imagine how bad the younger players in the squad must feel - and that they can't take any more!
I also read on Sky Sports News that Robbie Keane punched Quinn on the same day as Roy Keane 'exploded'.
He obviously didn't like Quinn's idea of getting Roy back into the squad then!!
There's still time for him to come back, all he has to do is appologise to the players and squad, and they may accept him again.
It's surely too late now though!
And even though they all apparently hate him, they all still miss him terribley.

Sorry, but I think this was a carefully thought out ruse to put the pressure on McCarthy and away from himself after criticism from the Irish public - however his plan has backfired and the whole team has rejected him and his antics. They are probably fed up with the whole situation and want it, and the speculation, to end so they can prepare like any other team. If Keane really wants to put country before self, he will now let it lie and end the farce before it affects the Irish camp any further.

Pride aside, both of them lose if Keane doesnt take part in the World cup.
