Here I lie,
Accompanied but alone,
In my cocoon,
Spun of the silk of my thoughts,
Trapped in a whirlpool of bird whispers,
That go raging round my head,
Pleading to be listened to,
My soul is calling,
But I am deaf,

Here I walk,
Treading my endless road,
Thinking of how easy sorry is to say,
But how hard it is to mean,
And of how easy cynicism and negativity are,
And how hard it is to see the good in things,

Here I place faith,
The tides turn,
And I’m offered a little glimmer,
Hope it would seem,
But,

Here I realise,
That my hope is dreams,
For every silver lining,
No matter how bright and beautiful,
Has its cloud,

Here I’ve stopped,
Barricaded,
Encased in a world of hurt,
Pain,
Lies,
And broken promises,
But Time still flows,

Here I’m snagged,
Dwelling on memories,
Photos of ghosts,
And video’s in my mind,
The cloth will rip,
In time,
Then I’ll be swept away once again,

And here I am,
Grasping for something to hold onto,
Something that for once,
I may not have to leave behind,
Something I can trust in,
Hope for,
And perhaps one day,
Rely on

Cheers. I thought of that little phrase when staring at a rainbow the other day. A cloud was behind it with the sun behind that so the cloud had a yellow lining, and I thought that it wasn't the cloud that had the lining, it was the lining that had the cloud, showng once again my positive spin on things ;-)

heh it's ok, sometimes on the internet people type stuff in tones and it is read in another. I hate that.

I'm amazed how long it takes some people to read some posts. I whizz through 'em, same as RM18. I too, took A level English, but I was, uh... "asked to leave" Heh
