Right could some PLZ tell me how u get past lv.1/2/3/4 blocks on the Sphere Grid??!!! I'm really stumped with it!!
I got my first Level 1 sphere about 8 hours in, so I'm quicker than you!
And the difference between standard and expert grids is their complexity. They both give the same abilities, but on the Expert grid there are tonnes of different paths to take and isn't as linear as the standard one.
Plus, the MP spheres, HP spheres and all the rest fill in empty nodes to HP/MP nodes - very handy, although they're hard to find.
And another cool thing - has anybody else got Lulu's various Cait Sith dolls? They're really cute!

Once you reach a certain part in the storyline you start collecting LvL1 Lock Spheres which you use just like normal spheres on the Sphere Grid, except all they do is unlock the LvL1 locks so they become empty nodes and you can progress through them.
Took me about 12 hours of gameplay to get that far.
