Well, seen the shots of Super Monkey Ball 2 and must say they look stunning! Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't all the environments in Super Monkey Ball just the typical Sega style chequered square floors and various other obstacles floating in air? The shots of the next one show a casino like environment (wouldn't a level on a roulette wheel RULE?!?) and another in some cavey environment with lava and stuff... also it looks like there's gonna be new additions to the sub games, with a raft ride shown in one of the screenshots.
It looks like Super Monkey Ball. Only with more Monkeys. And more Balls. And more Bonuses. And I wouldn't be suprised if there were more bananas too... :D

Sounds good, pretty much all the enviroments in Monkey Ball where the same there was the occasional fancy mirrored floor kinda thing but otherwise they where pretty boring.
I hope for the sequel that there's a bit more lastability in the Single player game.
