A nice looking new platformer.
I think it uses the same graphics engine as Jak & Daxter but the graphcis have improved. From the screen shot that I have seen the are no square bits around characters and objects. The levels are massive, and now there are weapons and things that can be used un-like in Jak & Daxter where it was fists and feet.
There is a bolt blaster which is just a basic gun. Bomb glove, that lobs grenades. Flame thrower, which is great fun. Helipack, that allows you to jump higher and further and a sling shot, that fires an attachable harpoon and allow you to swing to get to somewhere.
The new characters also look fun. But I think it's coming out at the same time as Jak & Daxter 2 isn't it? I wonder which will be the best...
I bet we'll have loads of tose kinds of topics when they are soon to being released.

I think I will stick with Jak & daxter.
1) Because I think I will enjoy it more than Ratchet and Clank.

oh sorry I read the mag wrong. But that graphcs engine thing is something my bro told me.
I don't know its something my bro said but in the mag it says "Created by Insomniacs' friends and LA neighbours Naughty Dog" So i dont really know :S
Erm...one thing...how can it use J and D's engine if it isn't by Naughty Dog?
I think the story of Jak & Daxter is better than Ratchet and clank though.
I like the look of this game! If its anything like Jak and Daxter it should be a hit!
Also, I think the story goes like...
Ratchet is a mechanic that has a dream of traveling the galaxies in this space ship he's trying to build. Then this robot called Clank crash lands on Ratchets planet after escaping from somewhere and Ratchet doesn't really care until he finds that the robot has an important component for his spaceship. So the 2 make a deal and Clank rides on Ratchet's back through the game which is like Jak & Daxter again...
